Updates & More

Welcome to my updates! Here you can find more about my writing, teaching, community collaborations, and performance.

“Femme Object Somatics: Soul Candles, Glory Bowls, and the Crip Materiality of Overflow” (Feral Feminisms, 2024): In this creative piece, full of (dys)functional ceramics and performance art, I fantasize with my co-author about supportive devices that hold what we cannot, weird vessels for collecting our crip femme excess, too-muchness, and overflow.

“Glitter Grief: Eco-Crip Affect for Mourning and Re-building” (Periskop, 2022) explores the queer cultural object of glitter in terms of its ecological impact and political significance, while unpacking disabled strategies of making glitter more accessible for bodies and environment.

Awe of What a Body Can Be: Disability Justice, The Syllabus, and Academic Labor explores strategies for making performance studies classrooms and syllabi more accessible. Cowritten with my collective of sick and disabled queer and trans academics!
