Case Study
-
I conduct workshops on frames for increasing institutional access and intersectional lenses for examining culture.
I create training materials and virtual lesson plans on radical accessibility.
Specific workshops I offer include:
Crafting Disability Belonging in Theater
Neurodivergent Productivity Strategies in Higher Education
Disability Justice and Inclusive Teaching Practices
I also build custom workshops for clients--contact me to workshop ideas!

I listen to your goals and isolate the issues around access that are emergent, brainstorming possible tools that can improve outcomes.
I ensure that we move from words to action, creating a plan and providing accountability for follow-through.
My one-on-one consulting clients have included artists, teachers, non-profit organizations, higher education faculty, and graduate students.
I provide coaching and mentorship for graduate students and early career faculty on navigating disability, sickness, madness, and neurodivergence in the academy.
I perform reviews of existing policies, materials, syllabi, event plans, websites, performance videos, etc. and anything else that already exists. I do follow-up research when necessary and make suggestions for improved access.
In addition, I can help you build new policy and materials, as needed.
-
I consult in residence for larger projects requiring ongoing conversations, including performances, larger-scale conferences and events, or a major overhaul of institutional practices. This is my favorite way to work, as it allows us to develop a longer term relationship where all parties work together to creatively problem-solve in multiple directions with a more expansive time-frame.
-
Drawing on my eight years of developmental and line editing experience, I offer review of documents, research, website and social media copy, and any written text, assessing readability across experiences of disability and neurodivergence, investigating language that perpetuates ableism, and providing feedback for strengthening your concepts and text.
I also work with sick, disabled, Mad, and neurodivergent writers to support the writing process and give editing feedback that is useful, direct, and encouraging in order to move projects enthusiastically toward completion.
-
Often building on a review of policies and materials, I assess the accessibility of your organization, class, workshop, or training. This includes a review of emotional, sensory, physical, and economic access.
I can also teach you how to perform your own access audit in the future.
